Manual Therapy and Dry Needling in Columbus, GA

Release the Tension Holding You Back

Tight hips limiting your squat depth? Neck stiffness affecting your overhead? Our hands-on manual therapy and dry needling sessions target the specific restrictions keeping you from moving and training the way you want.

Stiffness and Tension Are Slowing You Down

Stretching and Foam Rolling Aren't Enough

You put in the work between sessions, but the same tightness and restriction keeps coming back and limiting how you move and perform.

Training Through It Is Wearing You Down

Working around restricted joints and tight tissue isn't a long-term fix. It compounds over time and gradually erodes your movement quality and training capacity.

You Don't Know If Hands-On Care Is for You

Many athletes don't realize that maintenance-style manual therapy exists, and that it's designed for people who want to stay healthy and keep training, not just recover from injury.
Common Conditions We Treat

What Manual Therapy Addresses

From restricted joints and persistent muscle tension to soft tissue injuries and training-related tightness, hands-on care at Revive targets the specific issues holding back your movement and performance.

Muscle Tension and Tightness - Accumulated tension from training, repetitive postures, or prolonged sitting that restricts range and slows recovery between sessions.

Joint Stiffness and Restricted Mobility - Stiff hips, spine, shoulders, or ankles that limit movement quality and hold back your performance in the gym or on the field.

Neck, Mid Back, and Low Back Stiffness - Spinal stiffness and pain that affects your training load, overhead position, or daily comfort and keeps flaring with activity.

Soft Tissue and Tendon Injuries - Muscle strains, tendinopathy, and scar tissue buildup that respond well to targeted hands-on techniques and progressive loading.

Performance Restrictions From Tight Tissue - Tight hips, a locked thoracic spine, or restricted shoulders that are limiting your strength, mobility, and training potential.

Ongoing Maintenance for Active Adults - Regular hands-on sessions for athletes and active adults who want to manage training load, stay mobile, and reduce injury risk over time.

Headaches and Neck-Related Symptoms - Headaches or dizziness affecting your training or daily life that may be connected to cervical mobility, muscle tension, or postural patterns.

Pre- and Post-Competition Body Prep - Targeted manual work before or after competitions, races, or big training blocks to optimize readiness and support faster recovery.

My experience with Revive was great! They were super nice and welcoming whenever I stepped inside. I went for 6 months because I was having bad issues with my right hip and now I can do my daily routine without any struggle and even more! Super nice staff, would definitely come back later for some any of my issues

I could not run full speed due to my hamstring hurting. My experience was amazing with the entire staff. They help me get back to 100% in two weeks. Now I can do every movement at full speed that I could not do before. Thanks to the entire revive staff.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not sure what to expect from manual therapy or dry needling in Columbus? Here are the questions we hear most before people book their first session at Revive.

Is dry needling painful?
Most clients experience a brief, mild sensation when the needle reaches the target muscle, often described as a twitch or pressure. It passes quickly, and many people notice reduced tension and improved range of motion shortly after the session.
Do I have to be injured to come in for manual therapy?
Not at all. Many of our clients come in regularly for maintenance-style care to manage accumulated tension, stay mobile between training cycles, and reduce their injury risk, not because something is acutely wrong.
Is dry needling the same as acupuncture?
No. Dry needling is a physical therapy technique performed by licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy to address muscle tension, restricted movement, and trigger points. It targets specific musculoskeletal issues and is integrated into your care plan. It is clinically distinct from acupuncture.
Does Revive accept insurance for manual therapy sessions?

Revive is a cash-based clinic and does not bill insurance directly. We accept HSA and FSA cards. Superbills are available upon request for clients who want to submit to their insurance independently for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

How long are manual therapy sessions?

We offer 30-minute and 60-minute session options depending on your goals and needs. Your provider will help you determine the right format — whether you're actively rehabbing or coming in for ongoing maintenance care.
