Fitness Programming for Athletes and Active Adults in Columbus, GA

Train Smarter. Build a Body That Performs.

Generic programs and random workouts don't cut it — especially when your history includes injury. At Revive, fitness programming is designed by Doctors of Physical Therapy who understand both high-level training and rehab, so your plan builds you up without breaking you down.

Random Programming Produces Random Results

You Don't Know What You're Missing

Without a clear baseline of your movement quality, strength, and imbalances, it's impossible to know what to prioritize and easy to train into problems you didn't know existed.

You're Rebuilding Without a Real Plan

Coming back from injury or time off without a structured program leads to frustrating plateaus, flare-ups, and the same recurring limitations you were dealing with before.

Generic Programming Doesn't Fit Your History

Cookie-cutter programs aren't built around your injury history, your sport, or where you're actually starting from. That gap is where setbacks happen.
Common Conditions We Treat

Who Fitness Programming Is For

Whether you're rebuilding after injury, returning from time off, or ready to take your training to the next level, our fitness programming is built around your body and your goals.

Post-Injury Strength Rebuilding - Structured programming to rebuild the strength, power, and movement quality lost during injury — with progressive overload that respects healing tissue and builds lasting capacity.

Post-Surgical Return to Training - Individualized programming that bridges the gap between completing post-surgical rehab and returning to full training at your sport or activity level.

Athletes Returning After Time Off - Smart reintroduction to training after extended breaks — with a structured ramp-up that avoids the overuse issues that come with rushing back.

Strength and Conditioning Integration - Performance programming that integrates your rehab goals with your training goals, building strength and conditioning capacity alongside your recovery.

Competitive Athletes Seeking Performance Gains - Advanced programming targeting power, speed, sport-specific strength, and movement efficiency for athletes who want more than maintenance.

Active Adults Who Want to Train Sustainably - Fitness programming for individuals who want to stay strong, mobile, and active for the long term — with a plan that accounts for their history and keeps them training without constant setbacks.

CrossFit and Functional Fitness Athletes - Programming that supports high-intensity training by addressing the movement quality, mobility, and strength foundations that keep functional fitness athletes healthy and performing.

Pre-Season and Off-Season Conditioning - Structured programming built around your sport's demands, preparing your body for the training loads and movements your season requires.

What Athletes Are Saying About Fitness Programming at Revive

Hear from athletes and active adults in Columbus who used purpose-driven fitness programming to rebuild strength, return to sport, and train with confidence.

Both Eric and Michael have been super helpful to me. As a college athlete they helped me get back on the field as well as educate me on how I can improve my body to elevate performance. They have a great process to help patients. I recommend Revive to anyone no matter how big or small their issue may be.

I was recommended to Revive based on a friends advice to see a sports centric physical therapist. The staff at Revive Performance Therapy have been incredible for me. I had sought multiple different treatments for my back and nothing really worked. They were able to work with me and my specific issues so well that I kept coming back, to get myself ready for some athletic endeavors I was pursuing. Even at my age, the staff worked with my back, ankle and knee issues, and got me into “fighting shape” in short order. To use a few words to describe the staff, I will just say they are planned, methodical, organized, and efficient. Most importantly for me, they are willing to think outside the box and apply basic but novel solutions to my specific issues, so I am not faced with slowing down, and can ramp up my activities without injury.

Maison McKee is absolutely amazing! He truly has changed my quality of life with his outstanding knowledge and expertise. He takes the time to really listen and asks questions to get a better understanding of what you are dealing with. I went to him to see what I needed to be doing for back and hip issues that I had been having for years. My back was always stiff and my hips always ached. Maison has helped me become pain free. I sleep better than I ever have and have regained mobility that I thought was lost. I truly feel like a new person. I cannot express my gratitude enough and recommend him to absolutely everyone I know. He is the best.

Frequently Asked Questions

Curious what fitness programming at Revive looks like? Here are the questions we hear most from athletes and active adults before getting started.

Is fitness programming only for people recovering from injury?
Not at all. While many clients come to us during or after injury rehab, fitness programming at Revive is also for healthy athletes who want a smarter, more structured approach to their training, one that reduces injury risk and drives real performance gains.
How is this different from working with a personal trainer?

Personal trainers are valuable, but fitness programming at Revive is designed and overseen by licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy with advanced clinical training. That means your program accounts for injury history, movement dysfunction, and performance goals in a way most personal training programs can't. Fitness programming at Revive builds on individualized exercise prescription, with every phase grounded in a clinical assessment of how you actually move.

Will I be training at the clinic?
Fitness programming at Revive is primarily designed for your training environment of choice: your gym, your field, your schedule. Your provider will build a plan that fits your life while ensuring you have the support and progressions you need to stay on track.
How long is a typical fitness program?

It depends on your goals and starting point. After your initial assessment, we'll outline a clear plan with defined phases and realistic timelines so you know what to expect at every stage.

Does Revive accept insurance for fitness programming?

Revive is a cash-based clinic and does not bill insurance directly. We accept HSA and FSA cards. Superbills are available upon request for clients who want to submit to their insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
