Active adults and athletes in Midland trust Revive Performance Therapy to overcome pain, recover faster, and get back to the sports and activities they love—without relying on surgery, medications, or generic rehab.
Rushed 15-minute sessions with multiple patients at once left you frustrated, doing the same generic exercises week after week without real improvement.
You're tired of missing workouts, sitting out of games, or watching from the sidelines because your body just won't cooperate the way it used to.
You've been told to "just rest" or that surgery is your only option, and you're looking for a solution that actually addresses the root cause of your pain.
At Revive, we help active adults and athletes in Midland overcome pain and injury through a performance-driven approach that goes beyond symptom relief. Every session is a full hour, one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy who takes the time to uncover the real root cause of your limitations. We blend advanced manual therapy, dry needling, spinal manipulation, and custom exercise programming to restore function, relieve pain, and optimize long-term performance. Unlike traditional PT clinics, we don't double-book or rush you through cookie-cutter exercises. We solve problems at the source so you can move better, train harder, and stay injury-free for the long haul.
"When I came to Revive I was discouraged and fairly hopeless to be honest. I had done years of physical therapy, doctors, specialists, blood work, MRI's, X-RAYS, you name it. All to be told there was 'nothing' wrong with me despite the constant pain I had been in for 10 years. The staff here was immediately very attentive and listened to my laundry list of complaints without making me feel crazy. In 6 visits I could tell a substantial difference I hadn't come close to in 10 years. Revive and all its staff are friendly and so supportive. I am not in constant pain anymore. They are helping me strengthen my weak points and become even more physically sound now that I can move past the pain and focus on strength."

We start with a thorough movement assessment, strength tests, and performance-based screenings to uncover the real root cause of your pain or limitation—not just chase symptoms.
Using manual therapy, dry needling, spinal manipulation, and individualized strength and mobility exercises, we create a custom plan built for your body and your goals.
Once pain is under control, we shift the focus to long-term durability and performance so you can train harder, stay injury-free, and feel confident in your movement.
Whether you're dealing with a sports injury, chronic pain, or recovering from surgery, we've helped hundreds of active adults and athletes in Midland get back to peak performance. Our clients range from high school athletes and CrossFitters to runners, weekend warriors, and working professionals—all united by a shared desire to stay active, strong, and pain-free.

"I can't recommend Revive Therapy enough! I came in with a minor meniscus tear and was honestly nervous about how long it would take to heal. Michael, my physical therapist, was amazing. He explained everything clearly, guided me through exercises that actually worked, and helped me get back to moving without pain much faster than I expected. From day one, I felt like I was in good hands."

Michael Summerford
"Great experience working with Dr. Michael on knee issues while training for a half Ironman. I appreciated the combo approach of introducing dry needling and scraping with targeted strengthening and mobility work to alleviate pain and keep me running injury-free. He's very knowledgeable with a great bedside manner, answering all my questions and making suggestions that are reasonable without limiting my training."

Have questions about physical therapy in Midland? We've got answers. Here's what our clients want to know before booking their first session.
What makes Revive Performance Therapy different from traditional PT clinics?
At Revive, every session is a full hour, one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. We don't double-book appointments or shuffle you between support staff and generic exercises. Instead, we take the time to assess your movement, uncover the root cause of your pain, and create a custom treatment plan using advanced techniques like manual therapy, dry needling, and spinal manipulation. Our performance-driven approach means we focus on long-term results, not just temporary symptom relief. Plus, as a cash-based clinic, we're free from insurance restrictions, which allows us to provide the level of care you truly need without limitations on session length or treatment type.
Does Revive accept insurance?
Revive is out-of-network with all health insurance providers, but most insurances (excluding Medicare, Medicaid, and some HMOs) offer out-of-network physical therapy benefits. This means you pay at the time of service, and then you can submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement. We provide detailed invoices that make this process easy. We also accept HSA and FSA cards. Research shows that cash-based physical therapy actually costs patients less overall because we require fewer sessions to achieve your goals compared to traditional insurance-based clinics.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your condition, goals, and how your body responds to treatment. However, because we provide full-hour, one-on-one care with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, most clients see significant improvement in fewer sessions compared to traditional PT. During your initial evaluation, we'll assess your movement, discuss your goals, and give you a clear timeline and treatment plan. Our focus is on getting you results as efficiently as possible so you can get back to doing what you love without endless appointments.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No referral is needed! Georgia is a direct-access state, which means you can see a physical therapist without a physician's referral. You're welcome to book your free 15-minute phone consultation directly with us to discuss your condition and determine if we're the right fit. If you do have a referral from your doctor, that's great—we can coordinate care and keep them updated on your progress. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to get the care you need.
