Dr. Eric Summerford is the founder of Revive Performance Therapy and a performance-based physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Columbus State University and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. He is currently finishing his advanced Fellowship training to become a highly distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.
Dr. Summerford is passionate about building meaningful connections and ensuring every patient feels his commitment to helping them return to the activities they love, whether that’s competing at a world class level or simply getting back to a favorite hobby without pain.
As a lifelong athlete with a deep passion for sports and fitness, he brings that same dedication to relentlessly refining his craft in the pursuit of clinical excellence. He holds numerous Dry Needling certifications, manual therapy, and completion of other advanced courses in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, you'll likely find him spending time with his family and friends, training in the gym, competing in a sport, or supporting his athletes at their competitions!
